About Us

Welcome to Classic Motorcars, locted in Jacksonville, Florida.

I got the car bug when I was about 12 years old, way back in 1977 in Long Island, New York.  I bought my first car when I was 14, a 1970 Cranberry Red 1970 Chevelle SS396, from the original owner who owned a small auto parts store in my neighborhood.  I had saved $1,000 from my paper route and my dad covered the other $1,000.  I started working full time after school the day I turned 16 because I knew I didn't want to drive the Chevelle on the snowy/salty winter roads, and I would need to pay to store it and buy a proper winter car.  Well I didn't keep the Chevelle as long as I should have and by the time I was 22 I had also owned a 1970 Datsun 240Z, 1984 Toyota Supra, 1975 Triumph TR6, 1984 Mustang GT 5.0, and a 1980 Corvette.  I went on to a busy corporate career and didn't do much more than admire great cars from a distance until I purchased a 1987 BMW 325i 5 speed convertible in my late 20's.  This was my introduction to German cars and I got hooked.  Once we started a family my daily driver became a 1995 Mercedes S500 and after selling my business in 2006 I bought my first new car ever - a 2006 Ford GT Heritage.  Shortly thereafter I bought my first Porsche - a 2008 C4S and fell in love.  I began to build a small collection of my favorite cars and stored cars for other collectors in my extra warehouse space near Boston, MA.  In 2015 I opened Classic Motorcars and began to sell off some of the cars in my growing collection.  I began to search more actively for very good examples of the cars I love, enjoying them for awhile, sometimes years, then listing them for sale and finding something else.  I am not in this business to flip cars and make a quick buck, rather I take the time to seek out quality cars, sort them out where necessary, drive them and ultimately find them a new home.

Check out Current Inventory and Sold Vehicles to get an idea of the cars I love.

If you’re interested in selling your car, I may be interested – click on Sell Your Car, or just give me a call.

I also work with estates to have vehicles appraised by professionals and make the sales process easy.

If you’re in the Jacksonville area and need to store your car, I also offer secure car storage.

Take a look around and let me know how I can help you. Happy Motoring!
